Our Honored Guests and Students,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is with immense joy and heartfelt appreciation that I warmly welcome you all to St. Augustine College of Education, Akoka-Yaba, Lagos, on this special occasion as we host one of Africa’s leading telecommunications giants—MTN Nigeria—on their visit to our institution as part of their corporate social responsibility initiative.
Today marks not just a generous gesture from MTN, but a significant step forward in advancing knowledge, bridging the digital divide, and preparing the next generation for the challenges and opportunities of the future. We are especially honored by your presence and the purpose of this visit: a lecture on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the donation of computers to our College.
We recognize that AI is shaping the future of education, business, and society at large. By equipping our students and faculty with insights into this transformative technology, MTN is investing not only in infrastructure but in minds—sharpening skills, sparking curiosity, and expanding horizons.
