The Provost of St. Augustine College of Education, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos, Rev. Fr. Dr. Vincent Olofinkua received the Superior General of the Congregation of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Sisters in person of Rev. Sr. Dr. Fausta Manafa, EHJ, during her Canonical Visit to the institution.
The visit forms part of the responsibilities of the Superior General, who is expected, at least once during her term of office, to visit all the communities of the Congregation and the various places where the sisters carry out their apostolic and professional activities. Such visits provide an opportunity to strengthen communion, assess the life and mission of the sisters, and encourage their continued commitment to the charism and spirituality of the Congregation.
Her visit to St. Augustine College of Education was particularly significant because one of the Sisters of the Congregation in person of Rev. Sr. Judith Madueke, EHJ who serves as one of the College’s staff in the capacity of the Head of Catechetical Studies in the College. Her presence in the institution reflects the Congregation’s contribution to education and its commitment to service beyond the boundaries of its religious communities.

St. Augustine College of Education appreciates the visit of the Superior General and recognizes the valuable contribution of religious women to the advancement of education and the promotion of Christian values in society.
