This is to inform the entire College community, Parents, Staff, Students that the tune for the College has been recomposed.
Earlier this year, there was an inter-choral competition within the entire choir in the Archdiocese of Lagos in which a price would be given to the Choir that produced the best composed tune for St. Augustine College of Education, Akoka with some other criteria.
After the inter-choral competition that span through months, ST. AUGUSTINE CATHOLIC CHURCH, IBA came First Position with the best composed tune for the College.
This new composed College anthem was sung in the College during the Monday mid-day mass to the staff and student on Monday, 21st October 2024.
It was really melodious and easy to learn.
CONGRATULATIONS ONCE AGAIN TO ST. AUGUSTINE CATHOLIC CHAPLAINCY, IBA for emerging as the OVERALL winner of the Archdiocesan Inter-choral Competition in Lagos.
A cash Price of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N250,000.00) was handed over to them immediately after the Mass.
