UNVEILING OF THE NEW LOGO OF ST AUGUSTINE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
The College after existing for over a period of 50 years to offer other programmes such as Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) and B.Sc/ B.Ed Programmes in affiliation to University of Ibadan. As well as Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PDE), Diploma in Catechesis and Professional Diploma Certificate in Computer Science.
As a way of further transforming, advertising and growing the College, the Management thought it wise to rebrand it. One of the steps towards achieving this goal is the redesigning of the College Logo to reflect the current status of the College and what it stands for.
The College Management in their bid to further advertise/rebrand the College, thought it wise to change the College Logo of which the competition was thrown open to the students.
The vision for this is to allow the students OWN the deigning of the logo. This also makes the College more student-centered.
Amongst the Nine (11) students who competed in the Logo re-design, Two (2) out of them were eventually taken and the two designs were worked upon to arrive at what we thought will suit the College.

A cash consolation prize was given to the remaining Nine (9) contestants while the Grand prize of Fifty Thousand Naira (=N=50,000) each was given to the two winners of this competition by the Proprietor, Most Rev. Dr. Alfred Adewale Martins.
The design of the two winners were combined to produce a very beautiful design which currently is used officially as the College logo.
