VACANCY FOR THE POST OF A BURSAR

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of a Bursar at St. Augustine’s College of Education.

The Bursar is a Principal Officer and is the Chief Financial Officer of the College responsible to the Provost/Chief Executive for the day-to-day administration and the control of the financial affairs of the Institution.

Candidate must possess:

▪️A good honours degree in Accountancy, Finance or Economics from a recognized University.

▪️A professional Accountancy qualification with at least seven (7) years’ experience

▪️A Post-graduate degree in the relevant field will be an added advantage.

▪️Candidate must have at least seven (7) years satisfactory post qualification cognate experience or by promotion of a suitable Chief Accountant/Auditor with three (3) years in that grade.

▪️Candidate must be computer literate and must be proficient with accounting/auditing software.
