2024 ANNUAL SEMINAR FOR TEACHERS
THEME: “MEETING THE LEARNERS WHERE THEY ARE”

The College Marketing and Publicity Committee in conjunction with the College management conducted a SEMINAR for teachers on Tuesday, 11th June 2024 at 10am in the College Hall.
The seminar began with a welcome address “Meeting the Leaners Where They Are” taken by the Acting Provost of the College Rev. Fr. Vincent Olofinkua, Ph.D.
This Seminar had three topics taken by well-known educators who knows their onions. These topics are.
1. “Teaching in A Digital Age” by Ebenezer Obideyi, Ph.D. A Lecturer in St. Augustine’s College of Education, Akoka, Arts and Social Sciences Education Department
2. 
“Developing Effective Collaboration between School Administrators and Teachers’ in Schools in Lagos State” by Rev. Sr. Celine Mary Adesola Onafowope, OSF in Degree and Master’s in Educational Administration and Planning. Also, a lecturer in St. Augustine’s College of Education Akoka, Educational Management Department
“Codes of Ethics of the Teaching Profession in Nigeria” by Sunday Oyerinde Fabode, Ph.D. Masters in Social Studies and Director of Philosophy in Political Science. Also, a Lecturer in Arts and Social Sciences Education Department; St. Augustine’s College of Education, Akoka
We had more than Two Hundred (200) educators (teachers) including Staff and Final year Students of the College present at this Seminar.
According to their evaluation review, they were overwhelmed and thankful for such a well packed event to enrich their Cognitive, Psychomotor and Affective domain to learning.
Some proposed that this event should have spread round many audiences than it did to impact more teachers out there. In agreement, they never regretted attending this seminar.
We the management sincerely appreciate ALL our participants for coming and honoring our invitation. We hope to see us becoming great educators who would change the world by educating our learners with sound knowledge.
Certificates of Participation were also shared immediately the seminar was over with pictures.
