Welcome to the historic inaugural celebration of our Founder’s Day! Today, we gather not only to commemorate the establishment of our great institution in 1971 but also to honour the vision and dedication of its founders.<\/p>\n

For over five decades, St. Augustine College of Education has stood tall amidst challenges, shaping countless young minds into future educators. We acknowledge the obstacles we have faced, but they have only strengthened our resolve to provide quality education. Consequently, we celebrate our rich heritage and reaffirm our commitment to excellence on this momentous occasion. We pray that the fire of St. Augustine’s spirit will continue to illuminate our path as we strive to become a leading institution for teacher education.<\/p>\n

Together, let us write the next glorious chapter in the annals of this noble institution. Talking about writing the next glorious chapter, today we will be installing Ambassadors who will be the face of the College to the world. They will be saddled with the responsibilities of projecting its activities, sponsoring some students, and working closely with the management for the good of the College. Their installation is particularly relevant and significant with the prevailing economic situation of the country. As we all know, it is very challenging to afford education in the present-day Nigeria. It has therefore become necessary for the College to ease the pain and struggle of parents paying the school fees of their children. It is on this note that the College, in collaboration with our sponsors, is offering a scholarship scheme that will help to reduce the pain of parents. This scholarship is open to candidates who took the 2024 University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 200 and above for Degree and 100 & above for NCE Programmes respectively.<\/p>\n

Once again, you are all welcome to this Founder\u2019s Day Celebration.<\/p>\n
