The Cross:\u00a0<\/b>This is the sign of victory, and it is very central to Christianity. It is the hope on which faith is built. This symbol is necessary because SACOED is a Catholic Institution that belongs to the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos.<\/p>\n

The Sun Rays<\/b>: The sun rays symbolize light, enlightenment, and knowledge, while reflecting the College’s commitment to illuminating minds, which is central to the formation of individuals.<\/p>\n

The Book<\/b>: Symbolizes knowledge, learning, and pursuit for academic excellence. It highlights the College’s focus on academic achievement and scholarly pursuits.<\/p>\n

The Shield:<\/b>\u00a0 Stands as helmet or protection against ignorance, obstacles and challenges that comes with success in academics. SACOED students are characteristically formed to become determined, courageous, disciplined, and hardworking as they go through the rigors of studies for a better future.<\/p>\n

PROJECT T.I.M.E:<\/b>\u00a0 Since the inception of the College, which was established in 1971, it has been known with this acronym\u00a0(Teacher Institute of Moral Education<\/b>).<\/p>\n

Curved Rectangular Ribbon<\/b>: This curved ribbon represents recognition for academic achievement, outstanding performance and serves as motivation for students to emulate and excel.<\/p>\n

The Circles<\/b>: Represent unity, equality, inclusiveness and continuous learning.<\/p>\n

The<\/b>\u00a0Light to the World<\/b>: This is a vision of pursuit. Being light means to be illumination to dark areas. And so, in the world where young people now see education as \u201cscam\u201d which is partly due to excessive desire for materialism and quick rich syndrome. Students of this great citadel of learning are to make the difference in their academics and become light bearers among their peers- making a shift from ignorance (darkness) into knowledge (light) through the institution.<\/p>\n
